BSO de Wiesneuzen

Welcome to BSO Wiesneuzen, our welcoming after-school care centre right in the heart of Kilder. We are located at Schoolstraat 2, next to primary school De Wissel, so children can walk straight to us in complete safety after lessons finish. BSO Wiesneuzen is part of Stichting Humankind, a trusted organisation that has been providing childcare in the Montferland region for more than twenty years. Our setting is small and intimate: we have room for a maximum of 24 children aged 4 to 12. Because of this, we really know every child and can respond to each individual’s needs. A close-knit team of qualified pedagogical staff creates a homely atmosphere every afternoon where children are free to develop at their own pace. We are open Monday to Thursday from 14:00 to 18:30 and on Friday from 07:30 to 18:30. Parents who start work early can use our additional before-school care (VSO) on Monday to Thursday from 07:30 to 08:30. On Wednesday afternoons and during school holidays we are open all day, giving children a familiar place to play, craft or simply enjoy being outside. Outdoor play is central at BSO Wiesneuzen. We make frequent use of the nearby village square, the playing field and the Montferland woods. We also work with local sports clubs and cultural organisations to keep our programme varied and challenging—think sports and games, creative workshops and nature projects. At the same time there is space for rest and relaxation: children can read, build or simply do nothing for a while. In short, BSO Wiesneuzen is a safe, homely place where children can be themselves after school. We offer both structure and freedom, allowing them to grow up happily.
