BSO Ridderburcht

BSO Ridderburcht is an after-school care facility operated by Stichting Humankind, located at Vlasven 92 in Veghel. We provide care for up to 40 children aged 4 to 13 years. Our location has been registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK) under number 376540138 since 5 January 2009 and is supervised by GGD Hart voor Brabant. We are open Monday through Friday from 07:30 to 18:30. Children are encouraged to walk or cycle to our BSO whenever possible. Our pedagogical staff always pick up the youngest children from school. If the distance to school exceeds 15 to 20 minutes walking, we provide transportation by car, van, or taxi. Our groups are formed based on availability and age. We work with either vertical groups (ages 4-13) or horizontal groups (ages 4-7/8 and 7/8-13), always tailoring activities to the different age groups. Two pedagogical staff members are responsible for a group of twenty children aged 4-13. For children aged 8-13, group size can be up to thirty children with an additional adult as backup support. We also provide care on school study days or teacher professional development days. This service is announced at the beginning of the school year based on school schedules. Depending on the number of children, care may be provided at another Humankind location. For parents with varying work schedules, we offer special arrangements at various locations.
