BSO Poolster

Welcome to BSO Poolster, located at De Biezenkamp 262 in Leusden. We are part of Humankind and provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. Our location is situated near the Biezenkamp shopping center and is open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:30. At BSO Poolster, the child is at the center of everything we do. We offer a safe and stimulating environment where children can develop through play and discovery. We operate three base groups: Super Nova (ages 4-12, max. 22 children), Pluto (ages 4-12, max. 22 children), and Aurore (ages 7+, max. 24 children). Each group has dedicated childcare professionals who ensure a familiar and secure setting. Our activity program is diverse and tailored to children's interests. We offer daily indoor and outdoor activities, including sports and movement, cooking, nature and sustainability projects, science and technology, and arts and culture. We utilize multiple rooms and have access to a gymnasium and spacious outdoor area. We pick up children from Starter, Tamarisk, and Triangel schools, either on foot, by bicycle, or by BSO bus when necessary. During school holidays and teacher training days, we remain open and organize special outings and activities. We collaborate closely with parents and schools to ensure a continuous developmental path for each child. Our pedagogical approach is based on multiple intelligences: we focus on each child's abilities and provide activities that cater to various talents and interests. We believe it's important for children to be themselves and enjoy their free time.
