BSO Essesport

Welcome to BSO Essesport, located at the heart of Sportpark Dorrestein 3 in Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel. Our unique location is situated at hockey club De IJssel, surrounded by extensive sports fields that expand our play area to endless possibilities. In our own clubhouse, we have created a special 'Chillroom' where children can retreat after intensive sports and play activities to quietly play games or enjoy a good book. At BSO Essesport, we believe it's important for children to become independent and have a say in their day. That's why we always put together our program in consultation with the children. We are mainly there to be outside, play on the sports field and discover sporting talents. Our professional pedagogical staff guide the children with great pleasure and attention, with room for their own initiative and development. Our location accommodates up to 35 children aged 4 to 12 years. We are open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:30. For parents, we offer flexible childcare options, including BSO with or without vacation care. Through our handy parent app, parents can request extra childcare when needed.
