BSO Vierambacht

Welcome to BSO Vierambacht, the place in Rotterdam-Delfshaven where your child can truly be themselves after school. We are located at C.P. Tielestraat 12, within walking distance of OBS de Vierambacht, and we work closely with this school as well as with the Montessori School, Harbour Bilingual, Vrije School Rotterdam-West, Müllerpier Primary School and RK Maria Primary School. As a result, we can safely pick up children from the age of 4 right after school and give them an adventurous afternoon. Free time is our focus: sports, theatre, vlogging, painting or simply winding down after a long school day. Nothing is compulsory and almost anything is allowed. Children enter their fixed group and then choose the activities they want to do that day. We have an art studio full of paint, clay and other materials for sculpting and painting; an open-ended construction space; a media lab where kids can explore robotics and video-making; a cosy living-room area for dressing-up, puppet play and reading; a large outdoor space for sports and games; and a special chill-out room for the 8-plus crowd with comfy sofas, a games console and healthy snacks they can help themselves to. We believe children should help shape their own after-school programme. They participate and have a real say in what happens. Together we create a place every day where fun, relaxation and development go hand in hand. Our doors stay open until 18:30, so even parents with longer working days know their child is in trusted hands.
