BSO De Satelliet

Welcome to BSO De Satelliet, our 7+ after-school care centre located at Franz Schubertlaan 37A in Heemstede. We are part of Humankind, the largest non-profit childcare organisation in the Netherlands. Our location is purpose-built for older, primary-school children and can accommodate up to 35 children. At De Satelliet, child participation is key. After school is free time, so the children have a strong say in what we do. We use the ‘Kanjers in de Sport’ method, combining sport and play to achieve four goals: emotional safety, social competence, personal competence and moral competence. Through this approach children not only learn new skills but also grow in confidence and mutual respect. We are open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:30, all year round—52 weeks a year. During school holidays we run a special holiday programme. For parents’ convenience we offer a home-drop service between 18:00 and 18:30 when needed, ensuring our care fits seamlessly around your working day. BSO De Satelliet is a homely place where children can relax, play and explore. We provide plenty of room for both challenge and relaxation in a safe, familiar environment. Together, we turn every afternoon into an adventure.
