BSO De Kanjers

Welcome to BSO De Kanjers, located at De Dintel 8 in Veghel. We are part of Stichting Humankind and have been providing professional after-school care for up to 47 children aged 4 to 13 since 1 January 2005. Our centre is situated next to OBS De Gildeschool, allowing children to join us quickly and safely after school. Our pedagogical staff pick the children up and start the afternoon with a quiet moment: a snack and drink, and space for whatever is on the child’s mind. Then the children decide for themselves whether to take part in our activities or simply enjoy free play. We offer a varied programme of sports, nature, creative and cooking activities—think crafts, building, outdoor play, table football and healthy cooking and baking projects. We have a spacious, challenging outdoor play area and regularly use the adjacent field and school playgrounds. We are also open on study days and during school holidays with a special holiday programme full of adventure, creativity and fun. At BSO De Kanjers every child’s development is central. We work from a clear pedagogical plan that matches the children’s world of experience and developmental stages. Our rooms are furnished in a homely, inviting way, offering plenty of opportunities for both rest and challenge. Together with parents we provide a safe, familiar place where children feel at home and love to come to.
