BSO Boekelo

Welcome to BSO Boekelo, part of Humankind, located at Boekelose Stoomblekerij 27 in Enschede. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 in a setting that emphasizes space, calm, and natural exploration. Our location is small-scale, with room for up to 15 children, allowing us to give each child personal attention. Our team, including Julia, Tessa, and location manager Judith, greets every child with a smile each day. We believe children thrive when they are given the freedom to be themselves. That’s why we offer spacious indoor and outdoor areas where children can play, discover, and relax. Whether it's outdoor adventures, creative sessions in our studio, or simply enjoying a quiet moment together – there’s always something to do. We use horizontal grouping, bringing children together in age-specific groups. This supports development tailored to their stage and interests. Activities include sports, creative arts, and nature-based learning in the Boekelo area. BSO Boekelo is open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:30. We pick up children from nearby primary schools and ensure a safe and familiar transition from school to care. Small in size, big in adventure – every single day.
