Huize Pardoes

Welcome to Partou Daycare Huize Pardoes, located at Brandlichterweg 12 in Denekamp. We provide care for up to 54 children aged 0 to 4, divided into four horizontal groups. Every child is given the space to grow and play at his or her own pace. Our qualified pedagogical staff follow the Partou Pedagogy, placing the child at the centre and following each child’s natural rhythm. During an extensive intake we discuss with parents how their child’s sleep and rest routine looks. For the youngest we have a spacious floor box with soft materials and mirrors so they can safely explore and play. Some children sleep wonderfully outside in our special outdoor cribs; we always do this in consultation with parents. We believe in the power of music and outdoor play. Our regular activities are tailored to the curiosity of young children. With the cargo bike we regularly visit a nearby farm where the children marvel at cows, pigs and chickens. Every Wednesday morning we go to the local market to buy seasonal fruit together. We also take walks to the village, playgrounds and nature areas. In the forest toddlers discover the changing seasons: collecting leaves, feeling mud and spotting animals. Inside, our space is divided into different play corners that invite creative play. The construction corner sometimes turns into a farm where blocks form a meadow for animals. The home corner can suddenly become a gnome house or restaurant. Children choose what they want to do and learn to tidy up before taking something new, developing important skills through play. We work with a theme cupboard full of books and items around a current topic. Parents and children can look at it together, talk about it and play with it. For the transition to primary school we fill in a transfer form and discuss with parents how we share the information with the new teacher, ensuring a smooth transition. Our location has its own garden and playground where children can go outside every day. We use the Partou parent app to keep parents informed of their child’s development and of any contagious illnesses in the group.
