Horizon

BSO Horizon is located in the Buytenwegh district of Zoetermeer and is part of Junis Kinderopvang. We are situated inside primary school Horizon, a Catholic school for special primary education. Children aged 4 to 13 are warmly welcomed. We spend a lot of time outdoors. We play games in the schoolyard or take trips to the playground, Buytenpark, the shops in the city centre and the Geertje petting zoo. Indoors we use the large auditorium of the school. We play on the stage, with table football and in the doll corner, build creative LEGO creations or take a board game from the games cupboard. Our pedagogical staff also work as teaching assistants at school during the day. This means they know the children well and the after-school care seamlessly connects to the school day. For schools within walking distance, we pick up the children on foot. For schools further away, we use our own (bike) buses or arrange transport with a taxi company. BSO is available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 14:45 to 18:30 and Wednesday from 11:45 to 18:30. During holidays we offer holiday care from 07:00 to 18:30. We also provide a breakfast club from 07:30 until school starts.
