Welcome to Partou Hommeltje! Our small-scale toddler care centre is located at Vlasdreef 2 in Spijkenisse, in the building of elementary school Op Dreef in the Akkers/Dreef district. We provide care for children aged 2 to 4 years in a safe and familiar environment where learning through play is central. At our centre, toddlers can discover and choose for themselves. In the construction corner, home corner and reading corner, children can play or relax with a book. We believe that children develop best when they can discover and try things out themselves. That's why at our location, children can reach everything themselves! When weather permits, we love to go outside. In our green discovery garden you'll find a seesaw, slide, climbing and clambering equipment, and a sandbox where children can build sandcastles together with other toddlers. Running, jumping, scooting and cycling - outdoor play gives you rosy cheeks and new energy! We work with the VVE program Startblokken, specially developed to stimulate language development and school readiness in toddlers. Through fun activities, we help your child with their development and prepare them well for elementary school. Our pedagogical professionals create a warm pedagogical climate where every child feels safe and seen. With our six building blocks, we help children grow and gain new experiences in a playful way, so they develop resilience and self-confidence for the future. Thanks to our own app, parents can experience the day with us. We share photos and tell you everything about what your child has done and learned. At Partou Hommeltje, your child makes their first friends and feels at home, exactly as they are.
