Welcome to Daycare De Appelboom by Holland Kinderopvang, located at Hugo de Grootstraat 51–59 in the heart of Delft. We provide small-scale, safe and nurturing childcare for children aged 0 to 4 in a warm and homely environment. De Appelboom is part of Holland Kinderopvang, an organisation that believes a safe and inspiring environment helps children grow socially, emotionally, creatively and cognitively. At De Appelboom our qualified pedagogical staff keep every group small and manageable. We use horizontal grouping, which means babies and toddlers are cared for separately from preschoolers. This creates calm, familiarity and activities that match your child’s developmental stage. We offer pre-school education (VE) to stimulate language and thinking skills through play. Our spacious, green outdoor playground invites exploration and movement. Indoors, everything is tailored to your child’s age: soft corners for the very youngest and a creative studio where preschoolers can paint, craft and build. We follow a predictable daily rhythm built on rest, regularity and recognition. Fresh fruit, warm meals and healthy snacks are prepared on site every day, and we accommodate allergies and dietary needs. We value close contact with parents. Through our parent portal you can easily change days or request extra care. We also hold regular parent meetings and coffee mornings so you stay involved in your child’s development.
