Welcome to Daycare De Appelboom, our location at Hugo de Grootstraat 55 in Delft. We are part of Holland Kinderopvang and provide a homely and small-scale daycare for children from 6 weeks to 4 years. This location is specially designed for the youngest children and is open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. At De Appelboom we work with three horizontal groups, allowing us to perfectly tailor care, attention and activities to your child's age and development. The 'Ladybugs' are for children from 6 weeks to 1.5 years, the 'Caterpillars' for children from 1.5 to 3 years, and the 'Butterflies' for children from 3 to 4 years. This division is a guideline; your child's wellbeing always comes first. Four times a week, specialist teachers visit to offer special activities. All children receive weekly music lessons from our music teacher. Children aged 3 and older also receive sports and movement activities provided by our sports and movement specialists. Our visual arts and design teacher also visits weekly for creative activities. Throughout the year we offer various projects around music, singing and drama, provided by internal and external specialists. All children receive a warm and fresh lunch with us. We serve healthy snacks throughout the day. We work with permanent pedagogical staff who provide your child with the security and attention they need. Our vision is that children thrive best in a safe and inspiring environment. We maintain close contact with parents and caregivers and always coordinate our care well with you.
