Hoera Ittervoort

Welcome to Hoera Ittervoort, our warm and professional daycare centre located at Begoniastraat 11 in Ittervoort. We provide day-care for children from 0 to 4 years in a homely setting where every child feels safe, comfortable and at ease. Our centre is organised into three horizontal groups: the baby-toddler group ‘de Torteltuin’ for the youngest children, and the pre-school groups ‘de Peutertuin’ and ‘de Vlindertuin’ for children aged 2 to 4. This structure ensures that each child receives care and stimulation appropriate to his or her developmental stage. At Hoera we follow a clear pedagogical policy plan in which pre-school education (VVE) plays a central role. We use an accredited VVE programme that stimulates young children’s development in a playful, structured way in the areas of language, numeracy, motor skills and social-emotional development. Activities include reading sessions with suitable picture books, singing songs and rhymes, and learning first vocabulary through play. Parents are actively involved: we share themed newsletters and activity updates, encourage them to take out a free library subscription for their child, and provide pictograms for families where Dutch is not the home language. Through the Hoera parent portal parents can view photos and reports of their child. Our pedagogical staff are professionally trained and guarantee safe, loving care. At least one adult with a valid paediatric first-aid qualification is always present. We offer a homely interior with separate sleeping rooms, a spacious garden with play equipment and a fixed daily routine built around rest and regularity. Nappy changing, bottle feeding and hot meals are part of our standard care; special dietary requirements are discussed with parents. In short, at Hoera Ittervoort children grow in confidence, explore the world and, together with us, take their first important steps towards the future.
