Hoera Baarlo, Hertog van Gelre

BSO Hoera Baarlo at Hertog van Gelrestraat 47 in Baarlo provides after-school care for children aged 4 to 13. We are open 52 weeks a year, every weekday from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, excluding national holidays. Our BSO works closely with the primary schools in Baarlo: De Bolleberg, Panta Rhei, and the Omnibus. We pick up children after school and bring them to school in the morning. During school holidays, study days, and teacher training days, we are open all day and offer a varied holiday programme with sports, games, and creative activities. We use fixed base groups, taking into account the individual needs of each child, with continuity and stability as key principles. Our pedagogical staff guide children with homework, provide relaxation after a busy school day, and organise challenging activities such as sports and games in the gym, arts and crafts, and themed outings. We provide a healthy lunch and snacks such as fruit and drinks. Parents receive newsletters by email with information about the programme and any changes.
