Hobbithoeve

Hobbithoeve After-School Care (BSO) is located at Burgemeester Kasteleinstraat 6 in the heart of Driemond, Amsterdam-Zuidoost. Since 2013, we have provided after-school care for up to 11 children aged 4 to 12. Our BSO is part of the small-scale organization Hobbithoeve B.V., which became part of Hestia Kinderopvang on 1 July 2023. This transition ensures that the familiar, homely atmosphere is preserved while benefiting from the expertise and support of a larger childcare organization. We work with a close-knit group of up to 11 children, allowing for personal attention for each child. Our pedagogical staff are professionally trained and provide a safe and stimulating environment where children can relax after a school day. The location features a spacious garden adjacent to the building, where children can play, explore, and move around. The natural surroundings of Driemond, with the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal and nearby green play areas, offer plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities. Our BSO is open on weekdays from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, aligned with the school hours of nearby primary schools. We provide care before and after school, during study days, and school holidays. There is no pre-school education (VE) available, but we encourage children's development through play, creative activities, and social interaction. The groups are horizontally structured, meaning children of similar ages are cared for together. Parents can register their children using the application form available on our website.
