Hildegaert Peuteropvang

Hildegaert Peuteropvang is part of Hildegaert Kindcentrum, located on quiet Debussylaan 11 in Rotterdam-Hillegersberg. We provide small-scale, professional care for up to 32 toddlers aged 2 to 4. The toddler group is housed in the same building as the primary school and after-school care, creating a warm, familiar environment that supports young children’s development. Our toddler care focuses entirely on the needs of children in this special stage of life. We work with small, horizontal groups so every child receives the attention they deserve. The rooms are bright, safe and inviting, with corners for role play, construction, reading and discovery. The large, green outdoor playground invites running, climbing, sand play and nature exploration. We believe it is important for toddlers to feel safe and secure. Our pedagogical staff are ready with a listening ear, a hug and stimulating activities that connect with the child’s world of experience. Cooperation with parents is central: we share daily how the morning or afternoon went and tailor our activities to what the child needs. This way, children grow with us towards a flying start for primary school.
