BSO Vossenhol

BSO het Vossenhol is located inside primary school De Uilenburcht at Jagersdreef 145, Driebergen-Rijsenburg. We provide after-school care for children from about 6 years old who attend De Uilenburcht, Valkenheuvel or Ontdekkingsreis. The location has 70 places, divided into age-specific groups so every child receives activities that match their stage of development. Our spaces include a sports hall, a playroom and cosy group corners. Outside we have our own playground bordering the green area of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug, and we regularly use the nearby sports fields. This mix of indoor and outdoor areas allows us to offer a varied activity programme. Sport, nature and music are central to what we do. Children can choose from creative workshops, cooking activities, sports and games, dance and music. Each afternoon starts with a quiet moment: eating and drinking together and space for whatever is on the child’s mind. Afterwards children decide which activity they want to join; free play is always an option. Our pedagogical staff guide the children at their own pace and encourage successful experiences. During school holidays we organise a varied holiday programme with themes around play & sport, creativity, expression and nature experience. We aim to have as many familiar faces present as possible and to keep children in fixed holiday groups at the same location. This way BSO het Vossenhol remains a familiar place for adventure and relaxation even during the holidays.
