Het Vlinderveld

We are Het Vlinderveld, a small-scale yet professional childcare centre in the heart of Hollandscheveld. Our after-school care is located at De Stok 18, in a child-friendly neighbourhood within walking distance of primary schools, the woods and several playgrounds. We provide care for children aged 4 to 11 in a vertical group, where children of different ages play together, learn from one another and discover how to take each other into account. Personal attention is our priority. Thanks to our deliberately small scale, the children really get to know us and we offer a familiar environment in which every child is seen and known. We work only with fixed days and fixed pedagogical staff, ensuring calm and regularity. When someone is ill or on holiday we cover for each other internally; no unfamiliar faces, just familiarity and continuity. Our indoor space has a homely atmosphere with various cosy corners and toys tailored to the children’s age and stage of development. Whenever the weather allows, we love to go outside: outdoor play is not only fun but also healthy. We make use of the nearby playgrounds and woodland area. We are Roelien Koopman and Inge Pol. Since 2005 we have been working with great passion in childcare, and since 2016 we have made our dream come true by starting our own childcare centre. We attach great value to good cooperation and mutual trust with parents and carers. Together we create a place where children feel comfortable and love to come and play.
