Het Vlinderhofje

Welcome to Het Vlinderhofje, a daycare centre set in the lush nature of Estate ’t Hulsevoort in Beltrum. Since 2009 we have provided childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years on 6.5 hectares of green space, surrounded by forests, meadows and ancient ash trees. Our site is part of Kumufit, a care and respite farm that also hosts children, young adults and elderly people with special needs. This unique partnership means your child grows up in a rich community where attention, calm and connection are central. We work in horizontal groups, placing children with peers of the same age. Each day runs from 07:00 to 19:00, including holidays and public holidays. Structure and predictability matter to us: we follow a fixed daily rhythm so your child always knows what to expect, while the content of developmental activities remains flexible and tailored to the children present. Our experienced pedagogical staff guide a maximum of six children per group and a back-up carer is always on call. Nature is our greatest classroom. Children help feed the animals, pick fruit in our organic orchard of apples, pears, strawberries and raspberries, and work together in the vegetable garden. Alongside Kumufit clients they make jam, juice and apple sauce, learn about herbs and discover how vegetables grow. We regularly go on excursions around the estate or join the Toddler University for a musical discovery tour. Crafting with natural materials, painting and baking pancakes are favourite activities. Parental involvement is essential to us. You know your child best; therefore we maintain regular contact, both verbally and in writing. Our door is always open for questions or sharing developments. We also offer flexible care: you pay by the hour instead of by half-day, and an optional pick-up and drop-off service is available on request. In this way we make high-quality childcare accessible to everyone looking for a safe, green and loving place for their child. We are affiliated with the industry association Keurmerk Groen Cement and actively participate in early childhood education (VVE).
