Het Visje

Peuteropvang Het Visje is located on the ground floor of the Jan de Bakkerschool at Irisstraat 2 in Woerden. We provide Christian toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 in a small-scale setting. Our goal is to let every child develop through play in an environment of security and trust. Each morning starts with a Bible story, prayer and singing. We use the PUK method, offering varied activities per theme, both individually and in groups. Think of crafts, singing, language games and discovering nature. The toddlers play outside daily in our safe and creative outdoor environment, where they can run, build and play together. Our pedagogical policy is based on the Pedagogical Heart of Kind & Co Ludens. We believe it's important that children feel comfortable and have fun, so there's room for development. We give children confidence and space to discover and be curious. Our rich learning environment offers challenging materials and activities that match the world of experience of toddlers. Together we learn to interact with each other and with the world around us. Peuteropvang Het Visje is only open during school mornings and closes during school holidays. We work with fixed groups, so children become familiar with each other and with the pedagogical staff. Our location is easily accessible and situated in a quiet residential area. We welcome parents and children during our open mornings.
