Zonnelicht Driestroom

BSO Zonnelicht Driestroom is located inside primary school De Driestroom at Waalstraat 28, ’s-Hertogenbosch. We are part of childcare organisation KDV Zonnelicht B.V. and provide after-school care for up to 34 children aged 4 to 8. Our service runs on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and is organised into two base groups: Group Vergeetmenietje and Group Mars. Younger pupils from years 1, 2 and 3 can join from 13:00; at 14:30 the older children arrive, creating one close-knit group of up to 30 children until 18:00. We use two bright group rooms and an adjoining outdoor area shared with the school. The location is a stone’s throw from Oosterplas lake, the nature playground and De Oosterhoeve petting farm. This green setting invites nature and outdoor activities and dovetails perfectly with our vision: equipping children with so-called 21st-century skills through play. Think self-awareness, collaboration, empathy, sustainability and creative & critical thinking. Our pedagogical approach is Neo-Humanistic and inspired by anthroposophy: love for people, animals and the environment is the foundation. We offer calm, space, personal attention and a varied programme of activities that connect with each child’s world of experience. In this way children are given room to discover who they are and what they enjoy, while respecting their individual development.
