Het Toverbos in De Holtbanck

Welcome to Het Toverbos in De Holtbanck, our day-care centre located right inside De Holtbanck primary school at Arnhemseweg 30 in Rheden. We provide day care for up to 16 children aged 0-4 in a dedicated, secure section of the school building. Being inside the school allows the children to become familiar with the school environment at an early age, making the eventual transition to primary school smooth and familiar. Our qualified pedagogical staff follow the pedagogical plan of Het Toverbos. We apply the same values and standards as our Haverweg location and share a joint vision on the continuous learning line from 0-12 years. Safety is paramount: we conduct an annual risk assessment, child-proof all electrical outlets and have a fenced outdoor area. Outside, the children can use a large part of the school playground to run, climb and explore. We regularly visit the village playground and organise activities such as cooking in the on-site kitchen. Flexibility is key: we open a group as soon as we have enough applications. If day care is not available on a specific day in De Holtbanck, you can usually use our Haverweg location.
