Kindcentrum het Stroomdal

Welcome to IRIS Kindcentrum Stroomdal, located at Esdoornlaan 1 in the green heart of Westlaren, Zuidlaren. Our daycare center is part of Christelijk Kindcentrum Het Stroomdal, an organization that has been offering children a safe and trusted place to grow, play and discover since the 1970s. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4, on weekdays from 07:00 to 18:30. At our center, everything revolves around calm, space and attention. We take time for each child and every parent. The day starts calmly, so children feel safe and secure. Our childcare staff work according to a clear pedagogical policy, with safety, hygiene and health as top priorities. We use a reporting code for domestic violence and child abuse and are affiliated with the Branch Organization for Childcare. Outdoor play is a fixed part of the day. We go outside every day: on our own playground, in the neighborhood playgrounds or in our outdoor kitchen where children make sand pies. We have chickens and rabbits on our grounds, where children can observe and learn about animals and nature. The outdoor environment is green and inviting, just the way we like it. Our childcare center has recently been completely renovated and equipped with a fresh, sustainable indoor climate. Each classroom has its own door to the outside, allowing us to quickly switch between indoor and outdoor activities. We pay special attention to early childhood education (VVE), so children develop through play and are well prepared for primary school. At IRIS Kindcentrum Stroomdal, every child feels seen and heard. We work with small groups and attach great importance to personal attention. Parents are always welcome and we are open to questions, ideas or a chat. Together we ensure that children develop uninhibited and positively.
