Het Stadshart

Welcome to Kindcentrum Het Stadshart, located in a historic building right in the lively city centre of ’s-Hertogenbosch. We provide daycare (KDV) for children aged 0 to 4 in a safe, familiar and inspiring environment. Our premises at Kruisbroedershof combine the charm of a small-scale site with modern facilities: a fully equipped baby area with soft discovery corners, a toddler and pre-school section rich in learning and play materials, a separate sleeping room with cots and beds, and a sheltered outdoor space where children can enjoy fresh air every day. We follow a clear pedagogical vision: children are given space to develop at their own pace, from a feeling of safety and security. Our professional staff approach every child with a positive attitude, putting the joy of play and learning first. We offer a challenging and purposeful programme that connects with the world of young children: music and singing, dance and movement, arts and crafts, reading and language games, but also exploring nature and short trips into the city centre. In this way we lay a broad foundation for social-emotional, motor, creative and cognitive development from an early age. Care is arranged down to the last detail. We provide nappies, wipes, formula and healthy snacks; in case of food allergies we tailor the menu personally. Each child has a fixed key worker who follows the daily routine and is the personal contact for parent and child. Parents receive daily photos and short reports through our closed Socialschools app, so you can see from your workplace how your son or daughter is experiencing the day. Half-days, extra care days or incidental hours can be scheduled flexibly in consultation.
