het Speelhuis

Welcome to Het Speelhuis, our intimate playgroup located at Prinses Beatrixlaan 156B in the centre of Diemen. We are part of Stichting Kinderopvang Diemen and welcome up to 16 toddlers each morning, aged 2.5 to 4 years. In our homely group room we have set up different play corners where children can choose which materials they want to play with. In this way they practise making choices while playfully discovering new things. Our professional pedagogical staff guide the toddlers in a warm and caring manner. We deliberately work in a horizontal group so that all children are in roughly the same developmental phase. The playroom is equipped with a reading corner, construction corner, home corner and creative corner. We also have our own outdoor playground where the children can enjoy fresh air every day and run, climb and explore. Pre-school education (VE) is standard with us. We prepare the children for primary school in a playful way through language and numeracy activities, reading sessions and games that stimulate fine motor skills. We regularly do gym in the gymnasium of the adjacent school. We also teach the children to take each other into account and to play together. You are very welcome to come and have a look. Every morning around 9.00 am you can drop by without an appointment to experience the atmosphere.
