het Rupsje PO

Welcome to het Rupsje PO, our small-scale daycare centre located at Frankrijklaan 2 in the heart of Heemskerk. We are part of Kindcentrum de Vlinder, managed by Stichting Tabijn. In our homely group we care for a maximum of 16 children aged 0 to 4 years. Thanks to our small size we truly know every child and can respond to individual needs. We follow the Early Childhood Education programme Piramide. Through play we stimulate language development, motor skills, creativity and social-emotional growth. Each day we read aloud, sing songs and offer creative activities. Our spacious garden invites outdoor play and nature exploration; when weather allows we picnic outside or go on discovery walks. A consistent daily routine gives children calm and predictability. We start with a welcome moment, followed by guided play, fruit and drinks, a warm lunch and an afternoon nap. For the youngest we provide bottle feeding and nappy changes in our quiet sleep room. Parents can choose half-day or full-day care. Our qualified pedagogical staff are trained to build secure attachment relationships and provide tailored development. Parental involvement is important to us: every day there is time for feedback and we schedule parent meetings around your child’s birthday. Curious?
