Het Penseel

Welcome to Het Penseel, our daycare center located in the Tussen de Vaarten neighborhood in Almere. We are centrally located next to De Optimist primary school. On the ground floor you'll find our daycare for children aged 0 to 4 years. We offer small-scale childcare with separate baby, toddler and preschool groups. There's a homely and cozy atmosphere where children feel at home and can develop at their own pace. We work with the VVE method Uk and Puk, focusing on language development. Our pedagogical staff stimulate children in their development, taking into account their developmental level and interests. We have an attractive outdoor area with a large sandbox, climbing house, swings and a football field. In our vegetable garden, children help with planting and harvesting tomatoes, strawberries, carrots and herbs. We regularly make trips to places like the library or petting zoo. Our theme is nature, reflected in the tree house in the hall, vegetable garden boxes in the groups and our green discovery gardens. We use the Konnect app so parents can follow their child's day. We value parent involvement and invite parents for tours, information evenings and parent meetings.
