Het Paleisje Smitshoek B.V.

Welcome to Het Paleisje Smitshoek, our warm and cosy daycare centre in the Smitshoek district of Barendrecht. Set in a beautiful, quietly located building with no less than 600 m² of private outdoor play area, we provide care for up to 32 children aged 0 to 4. Our two horizontal groups – the Fairies and the Elves – each accommodate 16 children and are guided by four qualified pedagogical staff members. The group names are taken from a real fairy-tale, adding to the homely atmosphere we value so much. From both group rooms, French doors open directly onto the spacious, fenced playground, so outdoor play is always within easy reach. We operate on an all-inclusive basis: nappies, wipes, formula, hot meals, fruit, snacks and drinks are all included. We also provide all care products your child needs. You do not have to bring anything except an extra set of clothes. Our opening hours are 7:30 am – 6:30 pm. Drop-off is between 7:30 am and 9:30 am, pick-up from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm. For a small fee, care is available from 7:00 am to 7:30 am and from 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm. Half-day care is negotiable. Het Paleisje Smitshoek has been registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK 222191727) since 6 September 2016 and is supervised by the GGD Rotterdam-Rijnmond. This allows you to apply for childcare allowance.
