Peuteropvang Joseph Lokin

Peuteropvang Joseph Lokin is located on the grounds of primary school Joseph Lokin at Hollands End 8 in the heart of Ankeveen. We offer small-scale, safe and familiar childcare for up to 16 toddlers aged 2 to 4 years. Our goal is to prepare children for primary school in a playful way. We are open three mornings a week: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Child development is central to our approach. We provide a rich learning environment in which language, numeracy, motor skills and social skills are stimulated through play. Our activities are tailored to the world of experience of toddlers and are linked to the themes covered in primary school. This way, children learn through play and discovery, with attention to their own pace and abilities. We work with a fixed group of children and professional pedagogical staff. The group is structured horizontally, with children of the same age playing and learning together. We believe it is important that children feel safe and secure. That is why we attach great value to a calm and orderly environment, with fixed rituals and clear agreements. Our location has its own playroom and a safe outdoor playground. We make use of the facilities of the primary school, such as the playroom and the vegetable garden. Fruit and drinks are included. We take into account any allergies or dietary requirements.
