Het Lindehofje

Welcome to Het Lindehofje, a small-scale daycare centre in the heart of Oud-Beijerland. We provide anthroposophical day care for children aged 2 to 4 years in a homely and safe environment. Our daycare is open daily from 08:00 to 18:00, 48 weeks per year. We work with vertical groups, where children of different ages play and learn together. This stimulates social development and natural helping behaviour. At Het Lindehofje, the anthroposophical vision is central: we see every child as a unique individual with their own talents and developmental steps. Our pedagogical staff provide lots of personal attention and follow your child's rhythm. We work with natural materials and allow space for imagination and creativity. Artistic activities such as painting, sculpting and handicrafts are part of our daily programme, as is plenty of outdoor play in our secure garden. Peace and regularity are important pillars in our childcare. We maintain fixed daily routines with room for free play, joint activities and quiet moments. The children sleep in our quiet sleeping areas. We believe it is important that children feel safe and secure, so that they can develop optimally. Parents are welcome to contribute and participate in the daily life of our daycare centre.
