Het Kwetternest

At Daycare Het Kwetternest in Weidevenne, we provide everything your child needs from 0 to 4 years old. We are located in a beautiful, spacious building that also houses after-school care Spetters. Our groups have direct access to a wonderful green discovery garden, and the large shared hall provides extra play and movement space. Each child has their own home group with fixed pedagogical staff and their own dedicated space. We work with four horizontal home groups: the Kiekendiefjes (0-18 months), and the Waterhoentjes, Velduiltjes and Koolmeesjes (12 months-4 years). In the baby group, our baby specialists ensure your little one feels at home quickly. We follow your home rhythm as much as possible for bottle feeding, cuddling, singing songs and diaper changes. For toddlers and preschoolers, we organize daily activities that match their world of experience. We work with themes that we develop for the different age groups, paying attention to language development, social-emotional development, and motor and sensory development. Each day starts in a circle with singing songs, reading a book or doing a small activity. Children spend most of the day in their own group space, but we also regularly go outside to play in our discovery garden. Even the youngest have their own special baby garden. Every afternoon we enjoy a fresh warm meal together. We value healthy nutrition and ensure your child has already had a healthy meal when you pick them up. We keep parents informed through the Parent App, where you can view a daily report with photos and exchange messages with the group. We can't wait to meet you and your little one!
