Het Kuikentje

Welcome to Het Kuikentje Daycare, located at Rosendaalsestraat 483 in Arnhem. We are a small-scale private childcare center offering a warm, homely and rural environment where children aged 0 to 4 can play, explore and grow. Our daycare consists of two horizontal groups: a baby-toddler group for up to 10 children and a toddler-preschool group for up to 13 children. This allows us to provide age-appropriate care and personal attention for every child. Nature is at the heart of our approach. Children play daily in our large garden with a play meadow, trampoline, traffic garden, sandbox and bike track. We have chickens, dogs and cats that the children can help care for under supervision. In our vegetable garden and orchard, children learn where food comes from – they plant, harvest and even cook together, all at a child-friendly level. Our qualified pedagogical staff work fixed days to ensure consistency and familiarity for your child. We use themed activities that match our rural setting, such as “spring on the farm” or “from flower to bread”. These include reading, singing, dancing, crafts and children’s yoga. We focus on social-emotional, motor, cognitive and language development in a playful and natural way. Our hourly rate includes meals (fresh fruit, vegetables, snacks, lunch and drinks), care products (diapers, wipes, creams) and all activities. Daycare is available from 07:00 to 18:00. You reserve a fixed spot for a set number of hours per month. Communication is open and personal, and we’re always ready to support parents with advice or updates.
