Het Kleurrijk

Welcome to BSO Het Kleurrijk, part of KION childcare, located at Thijmstraat 40 in the Nije Veld district of Nijmegen. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 who attend Het Kleurrijk primary school. Our pedagogical staff pick up the children from their classrooms after school and take them to our own BSO space within the same building. Here, children can unwind from their school day in their own way. At BSO Het Kleurrijk, free play is central. Children can choose to play outside with peers, get lost in a book, create artwork, or participate in one of the activities we organize. We have a spacious playground where children can ride bikes to their heart's content, bounce on a hopper ball, slide down the slide, or kick a ball around. They can also let their creativity run wild in the sandbox. During school holidays, we offer a stimulating and varied program at De Wieken location, giving children a real holiday feeling. Children who don't normally use our after-school care can also sign up for holiday care. We work closely with Het Kleurrijk primary school and other childcare organizations like STRUIN and De Vuurtoren, ensuring parents always have a choice in care that best suits their child. Our location is part of the Het Kleurrijk community school, allowing children to stay in a familiar environment and ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. We believe every child is unique and provide a safe and stimulating environment where children can be themselves and discover their talents.
