Het Kleine Paradijs

Welcome to KDV Het Kleine Paradijs, our main building located at Henry Moorestraat 81 in Almere. We are proud of our spacious, green outdoor area surrounding the building. Children can enjoy playing in the sandbox, riding bikes or scooters, rolling tires, or jumping on the trampoline. Outdoor play is one of our priorities. Every day, we take the children outside with the motto: 'there is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing'. Our building is warmly decorated in calm, natural tones. We use play corners and toys made from natural materials such as wood, felt, and cotton. This creates a homely and safe environment where children feel secure. On the ground floor, you will find our baby group and toddler group for children up to about 2 years old. On the first floor, there are two toddler groups for children aged 2 to 4. We work with horizontal groups, where children are grouped by age. This allows us to tailor activities and care to the developmental stage of each child. Our pedagogical approach is outlined in our policy plan “De Gouden Twijg”. We provide children with warmth, safety, and a sense of security. At the same time, we stimulate their development by challenging them through play. We focus on motor, cognitive, language, and creative development. Social skills and learning to deal with norms and values are also part of our daily activities. We serve organic and vegetarian hot meals, prepared by our own cook. These meals are tailored to the needs of young children and support a healthy lifestyle. For the youngest ones, we provide bottle feeding and adjustments as needed. At Het Kleine Paradijs, we value personal contact with parents. We keep parents informed through our website and conversations, and update them on developments. Our daycare is open Monday to Friday, for all day parts. We provide care for up to 48 children aged 0 to 4 years.
