Het kleine huis a/h plein

Welcome to Het Kleine Huis aan het Plein, our daycare center located at Hygiëaplein 7 in Amsterdam. We provide anthroposophical childcare for children aged 6 months to 4 years. In a safe, secure and joyful environment, children can play to their heart's content and develop in a balanced way. Our location features four groups: two infant/toddler groups, one preschool group and one mixed-age group. Through a harmonious environment, loving care and respect for the uniqueness of each child, we contribute to a solid foundation on which children can develop freely and healthily. Our pedagogical policy is based on the anthroposophical view of humanity and the world as developed by Rudolf Steiner. This vision is reflected in our approach, the design of our indoor and outdoor spaces, and our play materials. We believe it's important that parents can entrust their children to our care with peace of mind. That's why we work with dedicated pedagogical staff who know the children well and closely follow their development. We pay attention to seasonal activities and give children the space to grow and learn at their own pace. Our natural playground offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor play and discovery. We believe it's important that children spend lots of time outdoors and connect with nature. This contributes to their overall development and well-being.
