Het Kinderspeelkasteel

Welcome to Het Kinderspeelkasteel, our daycare center located at Zilverpopulier 93 in the heart of Maaspoort, 's-Hertogenbosch. We are proud to be part of Smallsteps, a national organization with over 25 years of experience in childcare. In our castle-like building, we provide care for up to 96 children aged 0 to 4 years. At our center, everything revolves around discovery, play and development in a safe and warm environment. Our large group spaces are designed for different age categories, where babies can cuddle in their own corner and toddlers can play in the spacious toddler group. We work with horizontal groups, where children of similar ages play and learn together. Our unique outdoor space is a true paradise for young children. With a large garden where children can play on the barefoot path, garden in our vegetable garden and even grow and pick their own tomatoes. Nature is an important part of our daily activities. We believe that outdoor play is essential for children's development and therefore offer daily opportunities to go outside. Creative development is highly valued at our center. Children can express themselves through music, crafts and drawing. We have our own library where older children can enjoy reading sessions and browse through books themselves. Language development is stimulated through daily activities such as circle discussions, singing songs and storytelling. For the youngest ones, we take care of everything: from diapers and wipes to bottle feeding and warm meals. Our experienced pedagogical professionals ensure that each child receives the individual attention they deserve. We work with our own app that keeps parents informed of all milestones and fun moments of their child. Our location is fully equipped to meet the needs of young children. We have separate bedrooms where children can sleep peacefully, a secure entrance with access control, and all facilities are child-friendly and safe. We offer both full and half-day care, allowing us to flexibly respond to parents' wishes.
