Het Kinderrijmpje

At the beginning of Joost van den Vondellaan you will find our small-scale daycare centre Het Kinderrijmpje. We are located in two adjacent buildings, each with its own character. At number 51 you will experience a more intimate atmosphere, as if you are stepping into a large living room. At Het Kinderrijmpje we believe it is important that your child feels safe and at ease. Together we create a cosy and relaxed atmosphere in which children can discover and develop at their own pace in interaction with others. Our nature discovery garden is a real playground full of challenges: a hill in the grass, a tree trunk water track, a barefoot path and a vegetable garden where children can discover what grows and blooms. We love taking the children outside to experience nature. We do this during small discovery trips to the playground or the park, but also with larger outings such as a visit to the Barefoot Path, Dondertman, the Heemtuin or the Ulebelt. In addition, we stimulate language development by reading and reading aloud. We believe it is important that all children can enjoy stories, as this increases vocabulary, stimulates imagination and enriches the child's world.
