Welcome to Het Kinderdagpaleis Huurlingsedam, our beautiful location at Huurlingsedam 10a in Wijchen. From our energy-efficient, CO2-neutral new-build facility (2010), we welcome children aged 0 to 4 in a warm, small-scale environment. We work according to the vision of Thomas Gordon: every child receives all the space and opportunity to develop themselves, guided in a way that precisely matches their individuality and pace. Our vertical groups consist of a maximum of 16 children with 5 permanent pedagogical staff members, of whom a maximum of 3 are present per day. This staffing gives us the flexibility to work in smaller groups at certain times. During these development-focused moments, small groups emerge in which each child receives the full attention they deserve. For children from 3 years old, we offer targeted education to give them the best possible start at primary school. The specially designed, child-friendly garden borders directly on our building. Here children can play, discover and experience adventures to their heart's content while getting to know nature through play. The garden is an extension of our group spaces and offers endless possibilities for outdoor activities and natural stimuli. Our location is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
