Het Kinderatelier

Welcome to Het Kinderatelier, our daycare centre located at Hedemanplein 3 in Almelo. We are part of Humankind and provide childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years. At our facility, the youngest children can play with challenging materials that enhance their well-being and stimulate their development. We create a safe home-like environment where every child feels comfortable. Our focus is on self-reliance, social skills and confidence in one's own abilities. We love to explore the seasons and pay special attention to birthdays, Sinterklaas and Christmas. These festive moments are naturally integrated into the children's daily routine. Our outdoor space is an adventurous playground where children can enjoy themselves freely. Outdoor play has a positive influence on development and is, of course, incredibly fun. We encourage children to play outside as much as possible and make use of our garden and the facilities in the neighbourhood. We work with horizontal groups, where children of the same age play and learn together. This provides peace and familiarity for the children and allows our pedagogical staff to specifically cater to the developmental stage of each age group. Our location is open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:30. We offer a homely environment where children feel at ease and support them in their development into balanced individuals with a positive self-image.
