Het Kasteel van Alkmaar

Welcome to Het Kasteel van Alkmaar, our small-scale daycare centre located at Kennemerstraatweg 4 in Alkmaar. We provide care for up to 24 children in two vertical groups, where babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers play and learn together. Each group has its own outdoor space, allowing children to move freely and safely in the fresh air every day. Our certified pedagogical staff follow a warm, home-like approach: small scale and calmness are central, so your child quickly feels at home. We work with monthly themes that connect to the world of young children and offer Early Childhood Education (VVE), stimulating language and social development through play. By choosing vertical groups, children of different ages learn from and with each other. The youngest receive the rest and attention they need, while the older children discover new challenges. We believe every child should be able to follow their own rhythm: sleeping, eating and playing are discussed with parents and tailored to the child’s needs.
