Het Fonteintje

Welcome to daycare centre Het Fonteintje, located within Inclusive Child Centre De Fontein at IJsselmeerstraat 184 in Den Helder. As part of the Kopwerk Foundation, we provide care for up to 56 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our location has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 181381217 since 17 August 2020. At Het Fonteintje, we work according to a clear horizontal group structure, where babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers are cared for in separate age groups. This allows us to fully meet the specific needs and developmental stage of each child. Our pedagogical staff create a safe and familiar environment where children can develop optimally into creative, independent and social individuals. We provide pre-school education (VVE), with extra attention to language development and social skills. Our activities are designed to stimulate curiosity and discover the world around them. Think of crafts, reading aloud, singing and learning through play. The natural garden and playgrounds around the childcare centre offer plenty of opportunities for outdoor play and discovery. For the very youngest, we provide complete care: nappies, baby wipes and bottle feeding are included. We also take into account any allergies and special dietary requirements. Children are offered healthy snacks and bread meals. For rest and sleep, we have separate sleeping areas where children can sleep in their own familiar rhythm. Our location is well secured with an access system that is only accessible to parents and carers. We work closely with primary school De Fontein and other partners within the Inclusive Child Centre, ensuring a smooth transition to primary education. Parents are actively involved in their child's development and we are open to questions and consultation. In short, daycare centre Het Fonteintje is a place where your child feels safe and secure, while learning and discovering through play in a stimulating environment.
