Het Buitenhuis

Welcome to Kindercentrum Het Buitenhuis, located at Frieswijkerweg 6 in Schalkhaar. We provide childcare for children aged 0 to 5 years in a unique green environment. Our location covers more than one hectare and features two large enclosed gardens, a stream and a small beach. Children spend a lot of time playing outdoors and we regularly take trips to the heath or nearby forests. Since September 2018 we have been offering the Buitenklas: a special concept for children aged 3.5 to 5 years. Our groups are intentionally small and the pedagogical staff are familiar faces, ensuring that each child receives personal attention. We believe it is important for children to grow up in a safe and familiar environment, with outdoor play and nature experience at the heart of our approach. Frank and Korine run VOF Het Buitenhuis together. They have been a team for thirty years and are parents of two children. Their experience and commitment contribute to the warm and homely atmosphere that characterizes our childcare center.
