Het Blesje

Welcome to childcare centre Het Blesje, a small-scale, farm-based daycare located on a dairy farm at Zundertseweg 54 in Etten-Leur. We provide professional care for children from 2 months to 4 years in two vertical groups with a total of 26 places. We are open every weekday (except official public holidays) from 07:15 to 18:15. At Het Blesje children spend their day in very spacious and challenging indoor and outdoor areas on the farm and in the nearby nature reserve. Through play they discover nature and get to know the animals living on our dairy farm. Each child is guided by a fixed pedagogical employee who acts as a mentor and carries out an annual development-focused observation that is discussed with the parents. For the youngest children (0-1 years) we keep a notebook in which feeding and sleeping times and a brief individual report of the day are recorded; parents can also note changes. Photos of the children are regularly added to the digital notebook in KOVNET so that you, as a parent, stay involved in your child’s experiences. We value parental involvement. In addition to daily contact, there is a parent committee that advises on the organisation and once a year we organise a fun (mid)day or evening to get to know each other better.
