Het Blauwe Vlinderhuis

Welcome to Het Blauwe Vlinderhuis, a small-scale daycare centre located at Rondeelstraat 49 in Amersfoort. We provide care for up to seven children aged 0–4 in one cosy, mixed-age group. Our house is situated in a quiet residential area and offers a spacious back garden with its own vegetable patch and chickens, allowing children to explore nature through play. Your child is never just a number here. One consistent pedagogical professional – Brigitte – knows every child personally and takes the time for individual attention. We follow the principle ‘the child at the centre’: we adapt to your son or daughter’s rhythm and tailor activities to his or her needs. This gives language, social, motor and creative development all the space they require. The small group size creates a calm, predictable environment. Children who need a little extra care or structure – for example those with autism or Down’s syndrome – also feel safe and secure with us. We are happy to make individual arrangements for drop-off and pick-up times and, on request, can open earlier or stay open later. In short, bespoke childcare in a familiar setting where your child is happy to come.
