Het Avontuur

Peuterschool Het Avontuur is centrally located between the Geleerdenbuurt, Indische buurt and Tuindorp neighborhoods in Den Helder. We are part of Kappio and provide professional toddler care for children aged 2 to 4. Our spacious, bright rooms give children plenty of space to move and develop optimally during play. We work with themes that change every six weeks and continuously captivate and stimulate the children. Outside, we have a beautiful, fully enclosed discovery and play garden where children can play, cycle and mess around in the sand to their heart's content. This garden stimulates natural curiosity and offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities and discovery. Our permanent staff have years of experience and provide a warm, safe environment where every child can be themselves. We work with a recognized pre- and early school stimulation program (VVE) that gives children a promising start at primary school. Thanks to our location within the community school, children can already get used to the school building and surroundings, which makes the transition to the kindergarten class easier. We work together with primary schools De Windwijzer and De Verrekijker, but children who go to school elsewhere are of course also very welcome.
