Het Avontuur Kinderopvang

Welcome to Het Avontuur Kinderopvang, our after-school care (BSO) located at Sint Gerardusplein 24A in Eindhoven-Stratum. Hidden right behind the St Gerardus Church, the entrance sits between the church and the school. Since January 2010 we have offered out-of-school care for up to 96 children aged 4 to 12. Our professional staff are on site every weekday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. We pick children up from nearby primary schools and provide a familiar place to play, relax and explore. The group rooms are spacious and equipped with age-appropriate developmental materials. In addition, our Adventure Garden invites children to climb, scramble, cycle and mess about with sand and water. The garden encourages natural play and offers plenty of room for adventure and discovery. Safety, trust and challenge are at the heart of our approach. Each group has fixed leaders so every child sees a familiar face and quickly feels at home. We aim to let children grow at their own pace, offering structure as well as space for their own initiative. Parents experience us as a committed partner in parenting; personal contact about their child’s well-being and development is central.
