Hero Peuteropvang Ramaerstraat

Welcome to Hero Peuteropvang Ramaerstraat, located within De Globe primary school in Haarlem’s Boerhaave district. As part of the non-profit Stichting Hero kindercentra, we provide small-scale, same-age group care for up to 15 toddlers aged 2 to 4. Our mission is to embark on a daily adventure with the children, guiding them toward the best version of themselves. We follow the official Early Childhood Education programme ‘Uk & Puk’. This varied and challenging curriculum is tailored to toddlers’ world of experience. Through engaging themes children learn while playing—singing songs, doing puzzles, crafting and developing language skills. These activities foster not only language development but also social and motor skills, ensuring children are fully prepared for primary school by age four. The centre is open from 8:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., offering morning care only. Fruit and drinks are included. Close cooperation with De Globe’s teaching staff guarantees a smooth, warm transition from toddler care to the reception class.
