Located within primary school De Molenwiek on Betuwelaan in Haarlem-South, you will find our toddler daycare location. We provide care for up to 30 children aged 2 to 4 years. Most children who play with us live in Molenwijk or Europawijk. For about half of the toddlers, Dutch is their second language. You might hear a word of Turkish, Moroccan, Polish or Iranian passing by. We speak Dutch together. We repeat a lot and read aloud every day, so that the children quickly pick up new words. Toddlers are discovering all day long. That's exactly why we value a fixed structure for the morning: it gives children at this age stability. Upon arrival, they put the fruit they bring from home in a basket. We use this to fill a large bowl for the whole group. This way, children learn to share and taste fruit they may not know yet. And of course, whenever possible, we go outside every morning. We let children discover the world around them at their own pace and embark on an adventure with them every day.
