Welcome to Hero Daycare Timorstraat, located in the friendly Indische neighbourhood of Haarlem. Our bright and spacious building at Timorstraat 38 offers a warm home away from home for 61 children aged 0 to 4. Wide corridors invite exploration and play, while the large green outdoor playground is packed with adventurous possibilities. For our youngest guests we have a safely fenced baby garden, complete with outdoor cribs where fresh air and rest go hand in hand. We operate two baby groups for children 0-1.5 years and three toddler/preschool groups for children 1.5-4 years. Every child is paired with a dedicated key worker who guides them throughout the day. Our preschool groups follow the playful Uk & Puk programme, using themes that connect with toddlers’ world of experience. In a playful way we spark their curiosity – a cheerful stepping-stone toward primary school. Outdoor play and movement are very important to us. In our adventurous garden children can explore together, stimulate their senses and make new friends. We also take regular trips into the neighbourhood, making the world of Timorstraat a little bigger every time. Our group rooms are on the ground floor and first floor. The second floor houses our after-school care – convenient for parents who use both daycare and after-school care.
